Things are always more interesting than they appear to be at first glance. As a photographer and as an observer, that is the premise I work under everyday. This causes me to be deliberate, to slow down, ponder the mundane and to perhaps see a little bit more than what is apparent on the surface. I am hoping this comes through in my images and that the viewer, although they have probably seen this subject matter before, will come away thinking that they have not seen it quite this way before.
